Spafax operates as a supplier and partner in the airline industry of inflight entertainment, media and content. Clients include large airlines such as Delta, American Airlines, Jet Blue, Air Canada, British Airways, Lufthansa, Qatar Airways and many more, where we deliver a wide variety of content solutions, media sales and digital services to them. Part of our portfolio of services includes digital products to help airlines enhance the customer inflight experience and maximise the value of their media.

JOB PURPOSE

Evolve and sell technical and digital products and services offered by Spafax to airlines. Maintain relationships with existing clients for these products and identify opportunities to grow the service. Lead creation of both new technology-based entertainment products/services to airlines and development of new features for the current products. Work with internal teams and partners to deliver these services and create measurable value for our clients.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Internal technical product owner for client solutions.
  • Develop new opportunities by identifying client needs and through innovation around passenger journey and with technology based solutions
  • Evolve existing products, developing new features where need and opportunity exist
  • Consult for clients where deeper technical solutions are required
  • Work with regional business heads to propose solutions to new and existing clients
  • Work with internal tech team to see solutions delivered to production and enhanced once live
  • Maintain relationship with existing clients remotely and in person
  • Liaise with marketing team to deliver tech messaging and solutions at exhibitions and conferences.
  • Working with technology partners as well as internal development team to deliver working solutions.
  • Own the commercial aspects of the products and services, working with Finance and business heads
  • Own the ongoing delivery of the products/services and maintain harmonious client relationship.

EXPERIENCE

  • Technical Sales / Client Management in a relevant area of technology, technical content delivery or inflight entertainment
  • Partner and stakeholder management across a variety of disciplines
  • Business case development, budget management, proven commercial approach
  • Forward thinking approach on potential tech solutions to deliver customer value
  • Skilled in presenting/selling solutions and adapting according to client needs
  • Self-starter working as a small, specialized unit within the overall client business relationship
