Sparksheet Wins Webby Honour

MONTREAL – April 12, 2011 – Sparksheet, the online media and marketing magazine powered by custom content company Spafax, has been selected as an Official Honoree in the 15th Annual Webby Awards.

Sparksheet joins such journalism stalwarts as The Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Financial Times, The Atlantic, CNBC and CBS News among the list of honourees in the business blog category.

Sparksheet Wins a Boomerang for Best Blog

MONTREAL – December 7, 2010 – Sparksheet, the online media and marketing magazine published by custom content company Spafax, has won a Boomerang award, Quebec’s most prestigious marketing and communications prize. Sparksheet won in the interactive marketing category for “best use of a blog.”

“We’re thrilled to be honoured by our industry peers, especially in our home province,” says Dan Levy, Editor of Sparksheet. “It’s further proof that home-grown editorial content and design can thrive in a world of international agencies and brands.”

The Boomerang awards were presented by Infopresse on December 2nd 2010, at a gala in front of more than 1000 people. Montreal-based advertising agency Sid Lee and public broadcaster Radio-Canada were among the night’s other big winners.

Sparksheet Leads the Pack with Four Canadian Online Publishing Awards

TORONTO — Sparksheet, the online media and marketing magazine published by custom-content company Spafax, won a record four Canadian Online Publishing Awards last night.

Sparksheet, which competed in the business-to-business category, won for best overall online-only publication, best e-newsletter, best mobile application and best online-only article or series, for its exclusive Q&A with The New Yorker’s online editor. 

“It’s a thrill to come home with an industry high of four awards in categories ranging from mobile design to in-depth editorial,” says Raymond Girard, President of Spafax Interactive and Publisher of Sparksheet. “It’s a testament to the strength of our team and proof that great content will find an audience regardless of medium or platform.”

Sparksheet was also nominated for best blog and best community feature for its dynamic use of Twitter.
