The content partnership marks the in-flight debut of VICELAND.
VICELAND will be available to Spafax’s roster of airlines across the world.
LONDON – October 20, 2016 – The Spafax Entertainment team has partnered with VICE Media, the world’s leading youth media brand, to bring VICELAND, VICE’s 24-hour TV channel, to the in-flight market. The partnership offers an opportunity for Spafax’s airline clients to connect with their millennial audience, and for VICE to expand its reach across all platforms as it rolls out VICELAND worldwide.
Airlines can choose to feature a variety of VICELAND content, including Emmy-nominated “Gaycation,” hosted by Ellen Page, and underground music documentary series “Noisey,” among others. The selection of series will rotate monthly, allowing airlines to offer a variety of new VICELAND content to travelers.

Since launching earlier this year, VICELAND programs have already garnered two Emmy nominations. Under the creative direction of Co-President Spike Jonze, VICELAND launched in February 2016 in the United States and Canada. The cable television network is operated by VICE in partnership with A&E Networks and Rogers Media in Canada, featuring documentary-style series examining all things culture around the world, including music, food, technology, fashion and more. VICELAND premiered in September in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and will be expanding to almost 50 new territories in the next year, including France and Southeast Asia.
